Fizzback was the proud technology partner at this year’s glittering MOFILM awards ceremony in Barcelona, where some of the world’s most promising creative talent competed for a once in a lifetime chance to work with Hollywood legend Jon Landau; Oscar winning Producer of Titanic and Avatar.

Contestants submitted short adverts for some of the world’s leading brands, including AT&T, Samsung, Best Buy, Chevrolet, Yoplait and Pepsi, with winners judged by an audience made up of industry movers and shakers and senior executives from each brand.
Audience members took part in two live votes (Make An Ad and Pepsi Short Film) and submitted the reasons for their choice instantly using the Fizzback Engagement Platform. As the awards were closing, comments relating to the winning films were displayed on the silver screen.

After a close-run contest, Abe Forsythe and Matt Reeder were crowned the overall winners of the Pepsi short film competition for their entry ‘GPS’, while Henry Schofield took top honours in the Barcelona Ad competition for ‘Samsung changed my life’. Each lucky winner scooped a $10,000 prize and a chance to work with the producer that many critics claim has taken film to a new level.
